It is suspected that the family deaths were due to an epedemic.

Born as Rudolf Gustaf Leonard DAHLSTRÖM (2) (M) 15.09.1863 in St. Petri parish, Malmö, Sweden. According to Swedish Census 1880 Rudolf was been adopted by the following foster family when is family died in 1886. Rudolf's foster family (from which he got the surname HANSSON):

Father JÖNS HANSSON - sailor - born 1826 in Räng, Malmöhus Län, Sweden Mother FRITZINA ADOLFINA KALLENBERG - born 1826 in Torekov, Kristiansstad Län, Sweden Daughter LOVISA ALBERTINA - born 1851 Rudolf, who was registered as a factory worker, married probably about 1885/86 as had his own family as follows (untill they disappeared). Rudolf Gustaf Leonard DAHLSTRÖM HANSSON married SELMA CAROLINA FRIBERG - born 1861 in Torekov, Kristiansstad Län, Sweden 3 children IDA AMALIE DAHLSTRÖM HANSSON (3) (F) 24.12.1886 CARL PAULI GUSTAV DAHLSTRÖM HANSSON (3) (M) 04.04.1889 – dead 28.12.1889 CARL GUSTAV PAULI DAHLSTRÖM HANSSON (3) (M) 30.01.1891 The family moved to St. Caroli Parish in Malmö 8.11.1892. Nothing else can be found at this time.
