Y en el cap. 99 dice: Rui de Soufa, que defpues fue Alcayde del caftillo de Maruaõ, padre de Gonzalo Rodriguez de Soufa, fue el primer Fidalgo que requirió al Rey que le dexaffe en aquella ciudad, diciendo como tenia quarente hombres bien armados, y con buenas voluntades para quedar con él en fu fervicio. En un Nobiliario de Don Antonio Alvarez de Acuña, Señor de Tavoa, fe dice que Juan Rodriguez de Soufa, fobrino de Gonzalo Rodriguez, era Soufa por hembra, hijo de una hermana de Gonzalo Rodriguez: de que fe infiere que Rui de Soufa tuvo efta hija de que no tenemos noticia.
