Married Opal Stone, February 18, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a farmer. He was a heavy equipment operator for the Utah State Road Dept. for 10 years. He had been a member of the Palmmino Mounted Sheriffs Posse in Salt Lake. He loved fishing and hunting mountain lions. Member LDS church, active in the choir. Survived by wife, Spry; four daughters, Mrs. Dean (Shirley) Lawrence, Carol Wignall, Betty Barrett, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. Evan (Janice) Callister, Fredonia Arizona; 20 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren; one brother, one sister, Golden L. Berrett, Salt Lake, Mrs. Clyde (Jesse) Racham, Boise, Idaho; preceded in death by a son, Ellis Bert Berrett, March 10, 1972. Burial Larkin Sunset Gardens.
