RUSSELL AMMON HARVEY
Services for Russell Ammon Harvey, 58, of Evanston, were conducted Saturday, April 23 at the Crandall Funeral Home.
Burial was in the Evanston City Cemetery.
Mr. Harvey died Thursday, April 21 at the Uinta County Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 20, 1924 in Mountain View, he was the son of Ralph A. and Elsie Vanvleet Harvey.
He was married in 1946 to Eveline Geraldine Sextion, from whom he was divorced. His second marriage was to Dorothy Lamb Crompton on March 31, 1972 in Las Vegas, Nev.
A veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Mr. Harvey was retired after 30 years of service with the Union Pacific Railroad Co.
He is survived by his wife, Evanston; three sons, Russell Dennis Harvey and Larry Ray Harvey, Evanston and Philip Oral Harvey, Green River; one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Janice Sue) Nebeker, Ogden, Utah; two stepsons, Jay Crompton and Rick Crompton, Evanston; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Raymond (Vickie) Fruits, Evanston and Mrs. James (Bonnie) Davis, Libertyville; 22 grandchildren; one brother, Ralph A. Harvey Jr., Evanston; and two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Wanda) Blackner and Mrs. John (Wilma) Lyon, Layton, Utah.
Mr. Harvey was preceded in death by his mother and father; a son, Tommy Edwards; and a brother, Robert Harvey.
