Russell L. Zentz

  Sept. 4, 1893 -  Feb. 23, 1983

  Russell Zentz, 89, 1300 Greencroft Drive, formerly of 914 S. Eighth St., died at 6:15 a.m. today in the Greencroft Nursing Center where he had been a patient since June 1982.

  Born near Nappanee Sept. 4, 1893, he spent his lifetime in the area. He was married June 20, 1914, to Minnie Mae Price. She died Nov. 6, 1960. He was a retired automobile salesman.

  Surviving are two sons, Russell Jr., Valparaiso, and Dr. William Zentz, Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Carter (Bea) Logan, Goshen, and Mrs. Paul (Marie) Peffly, Middlebury, and three brothers, Wayne and Ford Zentz, both of Goshen, and Kenneth, Burnt Hills, N.Y. Two sisters and a brother preceded him in death.

  Services for Russell Zentz, 89, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church. The Rev. Marvin Engbrecht will officiate at the service.

  Pallbearers for burial in Violett Cemetery will be Ancel and Wilbur Whittle, Emanuel Hershberger, Ed Raber, Russell Saal and Stanley Berkey.
