About Ruth Heavin
https://www.genealogy.com/forum/surnames/topics/heavin/7/
The information I have from the LDS lists Ruth's parents as William Hall and possibly Hannah Richardson. Does this sound plausible?
The very little I have on John and Sarah Base Heavin is as follows:
John Heavin b. 1700 in Ireland, d. unknown in Montgomery County, VA.
Sarah Base b. circa 1704 possibly in Ireland.
I have their children as:
- John b. 1726 in Kent County, MD; d. 1782
- Howard b. 9 Oct. 1734 in Kent County, MD; d. 23 Apr. 1809 in Montgomery County, VA.

The information I have says that Thomas Hall married Mary (last name unknown). Their son James William Hall I b. 1702 in Scotland. He moved to Ireland, then to Lancaster, Pa before settling in Montgomergy County. died in 1772. His daughter Ruth is my ancestor. His granddaughter Nancy Haven married Daniel Howe. They had Joseph Howard Howe who married Mary Margaret Hughes Feely, had a daughter Eliza who was my great-grandmother. James William Hall married, according to records I have found to Jean Mitchell the daughter of the Rev. Daniel Mitchell. William Hall is also listed in some of Washington's surveys as a place they stayed over night.Betty
