Ruth Lee

BLUME, Ruth L. died in Oakland, CA May 22, 2017 at age 96. She was born in New York City, where she attended public schools and then worked. She was married to Herbert Blume for 73 years until his death. They lived for many years in Coral Gables, FL; Washington, DC; Palo Alto, CA; and Clearwater, FL. Ruth is survived by sons, Richard, Lawrence, and Michael, and by grandchildren (including David, whose company she very much enjoyed in her last years) and great-grandchildren. Ruth enjoyed several jobs throughout her life, and loved following politics, playing tennis in her younger years, social activities, and homemaking.
