Ruth Shattuck, daughter of William Shattuck and his wife Hannah Underwood, was born October 1694 at Groton, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony. She was living on 13 Jun 1747.
She married Ebenezer Nutting on 13 December 1710/11 at Groton. He was born 4 June 1686 at Groton, the son of John Nutting and Mary Lakin.
Was in Groton, Ma 1666. Removed to Cambridge, Ma.before 1707. There he was known as the learned Blacksmith. He later became a doctor. Ebenezer represented the town in the General Court, and was living on 22 Jan 1762.
