Mrs. Ruth O'Connell, daughter of Mr. Thomas Hardesty, an old and respected citizen of the community, died last Sunday evening and was buried at Chalfant's Cemetery Tuesday.
She was a descendant of a family remarkable for large persons. The weight of the family of six of them is said to have aggregated more than a ton. Mrs. O'Connell herself weighed over 300 pounds, and an extra sized casket and grave were required for her remains.
