Ruth Marie Boner, daughter of Ezra and Anna Boner, was born in Vernon, Indiana, December 2nd, 1903 and departed this life, June 25th, 1930 age 26 years, 6 months and 23 days.
In November 1905 she moved with her parents to Brook, where she attended school and graduated with the class of 1923.
At the age of 16 she became a member of the Methodist church, in which she remained loyal to the end, taking part in the activities of the Sunday school and of the Social Service Society, always faithful and willing to do her part.
On May 28, 1926, she became the wife of Paul Weston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weston, moving onto the Brunton farm north of Brook. After living there three years they moved to the Gridley farm, where they lived at the time of her death.
She was devoted to her husband and her home, finding most of her happiness in caring for them. She was a faithful friend to many, a loyal wife and finally a loving mother.
She is survived by her husband, her baby, James Henry, her mother, Mrs. Anna Boner, two sisters, Mrs. Adolph Gentry of Woodlawn, Ill. and Mrs. Esther Light of Brook; four brothers, James and Lawrence of Lohrville, Iowa, and Walter and Floyd of South Bend, Indiana, besides a host of other relatives and friends who mourn their loss.
