RUTH ANNA DOROTHEA WITTIG (NÉE OELLERMANN) 16.05.1923 - 22.06.2016 “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12 After the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, we express our thanks for all the love and support we received: to Pastor Michael Ahlers for his faithful pastoral care, to Pastor Roland Johannes for the committal and funeral service, to the brass band, the choir, and the organists, and to the Kirchdorf Ladies Association for the lovely catering. We also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who lovingly accompanied and kindly stood by our mother in her 47 years as a widow. Last but not least, we thank you for all the condolences we received, be they in person, by phone, or in writing. It’s difficult to lose a loved one, but it is consoling to know how many people sympathize. Gerhard & Janet, Edeltraut, Eckhard & Sieglinde, Sigrid & Dietmar, Heinz & Rona, and their families.

RUTH ANNA DOROTHEA WITTIG (GEB. OELLERMANN) 16.05.1923 - 22.06.2016 „Ich bin das Licht der Welt, wer mir nachfolgt, der wird nicht wandeln in der Finsternis, sondern wird das Licht des Lebens haben.“ Johannes 8, 12 Nach dem Heimgang unserer geliebten Mutter, Großmutter und Urgroßmutter, danken wir für alle empfangene Liebe und Unterstützung: Pastor Michael Ahlers für seine treue Seelsorge, Pastor Roland Johannes für die Bestattung und den Trostgottesdienst, den Bläsern, den Sängern und dem Organisten für ihren Einsatz und der Kirchdorfer Frauenschaft für die liebevolle Bewirtung der Trauergemeinde. An dieser Stelle bedanken wir uns auch bei den Vielen, die unsere Mutter in ihren 47 Jahren als Witwe freundschaftlich begleitet und sonst in Liebe beigestanden haben. Nicht zuletzt, danken wir für jede Beileidsbekundung, ob persönlich, telefonisch oder schriftlich. Es ist schwer einen lieben Menschen zu verlieren, aber es tröstet zu wissen wie viele Menschen mitfühlen.
