About ST. John Mark

Please Note: John Mark (aka: ST. Mark The Disciple), The Son of The Widow, whose name was Son of Marcus. According to Biblical-Historical research, His Mother was named Martha (aka: ST. Martha) or Mary (ST. Mary of Bethany) both being Sisters, they also had a Brother named, Lazarus (aka: ST. Lazarus). Be it one or the other, it makes John Mark, a Cousin to Jesus of Nazareth. According to other Biblical-Historic research, there is a controversy, that Jesus of Nazareth, had married a Woman named Mary, (aka: ST. Mary of Magdaline), but others researchers say that Mary of Bethany and Mary of Magdeline were the same or Two seperate people. If this is true that the latter Mary was a widow and then re-married Jesus... then John Mark would be his Step-Son/Cousin. If you to read "The Book of Mark" from this perspective, that it is possible to identify the correct positions of John Mark being a witness to the actual Gospel events and the question of 'A Certain Young Man' being a major indicator as a witness to these events, which could identify, John Mark as being that Certain Young Man.

It is said that John Mark was born in the Year 1 AD in what is now called Lebanon and died around 68 AD in Alexandrea, Egypt.

There is the stong possibility that he is identified also as "John The Beloved" and was present at The Crucifixion of Jesus, along with Mary, The Mother of Jesus and Mary of Bethany and/or Mary of Magdeline.
