Murdoch (Murchadh Ruadh) settled at Big Beach Rear. He married Margaret, daughter of Rory McDougall (Miller). Issue: — Mary, Sarah, Ann, Nancy, John, Rory, Dan C., and Michael.

Dan C. was track foreman on the I.C.R. for many years before he settled at Whitney Pier. He has been a foreman at the Steel Works since they started. He married first, Mary, daughter of Hector Ban McNeil, of lona; second, Mary Louise, daughter of the late Alexander McKinnon, Inspector of Schools; third Sadie McDougall of Baddeck. Issue: -John Murdock, and Sarah Louise.
