Saint Wautrude de Lommois

Sainte Waudru de Mons or Waldeltrude or Waldetrude 1 (in Latin Waldetrudis ), born in Cousolre in 612 , 613 , died onApril 9, 686or 688 in Mons , of which she is the patron saint , was the sister of Aldegonde de Maubeuge .

Known in Dutch as sint Waldetrudis (or sint Waltrudis ), she is also the patron saint of the Antwerp city of Herentals where the immense main church bears the name of Sint-Waldetrudiskerk ("St. Waudru Church"). Liturgically Saint Waudru is commemorated on April 9, 4 , but it was also celebrated on February 3, 5 .
