Sarah "Sallie" (Shelor) Scott

Sarah (Sallie) Shelor is mentioned in the "Brief Sketch of the Scott Family" as the wife of Thomas Scott and the daughter of Daniel Shelor. She is buried next to Thomas Scott at the Meadows of Dan Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadows of Dan, Virginia. Her grave marker is a replacement of the original and most likely is incorrect. Her death date in engraved as "Unknown" and her birth date is engraved as 1795. She is also mentioned as the daughter of Daniel Shelor and Mary Wickham in the book "Floyd County, a history of its people and places" by Dr. Amos D. Wood.
