This Samuel may be confused with another Samuel Buck who lived in Woburn around the same time. One was born in Cambridge and the other was born in Woburn in the years indicated in their profiles. One married Abigail Wyman and the other married Hannah. Which Samuel married which woman and fathered her children is not known and different sources indicate different lineages. For now, the profiles indicate what is reflected in Richards's Genealogy of the Buck Family, but unless more evidence is found each Samuel could have just as easily been married to the other woman in reality.

Samuel Buck, farmer, was born 3 Dec 1686 in Cambridge, MA. He was the son of Samuel Buck & Rachel Leavens.

Married first Abigail Wyman and had children Samuel, James, Abigail and Hannah, and that Samuel married second Sarah Walker and had Sarah, Rachel, Judith, Elizabeth, James, Mary and Elizabeth. Married 3rd Rebecca.

Do not confuse with his cousin Samuel Buck, son of Ephraim Buck & Sarah Brooks. The other Samuel married Hannah and had children Samuel, Hannah, Sarah, and Zebediah.

There were two contemporary Samuel Bucks in Woburn at the same time, sons of the brothers Samuel and Ephraim Buck. The older brother Samuel and his wife Rachel had a son Samuel born 1686 in Cambridge. The younger brother Ephraim and his wife Sarah had a son Samuel born 1682 in Woburn.
