This Samuel Eames, son of Thomas Eames, should not be confused with Samuel Eames, son of Robert Eames. This Samuel Eames was not married to Mary (Peabody) Death.
Biography
Samuel, the son of Thomas & Mary Blandford Eames, was born in Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts on 11 January 1664. Samuel was taken captive by the Indians on February 1, 1676. On that date, his father's house and barn were burned by the Indians. They killed Thomas' wife and 5 children and took captive an additional 4 children, including Samuel. Samuel and two of his siblings escaped
