Probate
The will of Samuel Edson of Bridgewater, gentleman was dated 23 August 1770 and proved on 6 January 1772 in Plymouth. He mentions his children, Samuel Edson, Nathan Edson, Abel Edson, Obed Edson, Ebenezer Edson, John Edson (executor), Ezra Edson (executor), Susannah, his deceased daughter, Bethiah, the late wife of Ezra Dean, Mary, Elizabeth, Silence, Sarah.[1]

His inventory of his real estate was taken on 11 November 1772 in Bridgewater.[2]
