Husband of Priscilla Burnett and the father of 7 children: Esther Tullis (nee Fithian), John Fithian, William Fithian, Samuel Fithian Jr., Isaac Fithian, Josiah Fithian, and Mathias Fithian all of Salem County, New Jersey. according to his will.

Please Note: that Esther Case of Simsbury, CT and Esther Tullis (nee Fithian) of Salem County, NJ are two different people.

1) Esther Case is born in Newark NJ or CT, there is a distance of travel of two hours from Salem County, NJ to Newark NJ and CT.

2) Esther Case lived in Ct with her husband and that in the 1759 will of Capt. James Case all of Esther's children all belonged to Capt James Case of Simsbury CT. there no family ties to Salem, NJ or the Fithian Family records wise. Esther's surname is, in fact, unknown.
