Private in Capt. Timothy Bigelow's company of Minute Men that marched from Worcester, MA on the alarm at Lexington, April 19, 1775. Served as a Mass. state legislator in 1823. Grave relocated to Hope Cemetery, along with many others, in late 19th century from the downtown Worcester Mechanic St. Burial Ground, to make way for development.
