p. 47 The "First Church of Christ" was organized by the council on the day of the ordination of Mr. Boardman, and gave the call to the minister, which he accepted, and the ordination followed. The record Mr. Boardman made of the organization of the church is thus rendered:
"New Milford, Nov. 21, 1716. An account of the Bretheren of the church at the first settlement of the ministry.
