Biography

Samuel Hull was probably born about 1645[1][2] or 1649.[3]

He was the son of Joseph Hull and Agnes Unknown.[1][2][4]

He settled in Piscataway, New Jersey with his brothers Benjamin and Hopewell.[3]

Samuel married Mary Manning on 16 November 1677 in Piscataway, New Jersey.[1][2][3][5] They had the following children[1]:

Mary Hull, b. 4 Feb 1681, m. Jacob Piatt

Gershom Hull, b. 14 Jan 1687, d. 1728, m. Mercy (maiden name is unknown)

Benjamin Corle married Sarah Hull, daughter of Benjamin Hull and Sarah York. Samuel Doty and Sarah Jane Harmon were the parents of Samuel Doty who married Elizabeth Hull, daughter of Samuel Hull and Mary Manning. Samuel was the brother of Phineas, Benjamin, and Hopewell Hull. Benjamin Hull, uncle of Dorcas, died in 1713.
