Biography

Experience born 1682; daughter of Ephriam Pierce & Hannah Holbrook; married Samuel Wheaton on October 24, 1709.

Samuel was born in 1683 at Swansea in Plymouth Colony, the son of Samuel Wheaton and Elizabeth Wood.[1]

Samuel's father died when he was an infant. Samuel had two older brothers, and around 1703, his mother and brothers removed from Swansea to Salem County, New Jersey. Samuel remained behind.

Samuel married Experience Pierce in 1709 at Swansea.[2]

Samuel died after 24 March 1752, when he acknowledged a deed of sale of 90 acres at Swansea to his son Samuel executed the previous month.[3] He died probably after 1 September 1759 when his son was still called "Jr." in a deed.[4]
