Biography

Samuel Paine, the son of Thomas and Mary (Snow) Paine,[1] was probably born about 1652 in Eastham.[2]

He married Patience Freeman, daughter of John and Mercy (Prence) Freeman, on 31 January 1682 at Eastham.[3][1][4] She was born about 1667 probably in Eastham. She was named in Major John Freeman's will dated 01 June 1716 as his daughter Patience Paine.[2] As widow Patience Paine she signed a settlement agreement for her father's estate on 27 January 1719/20.[2]

Samuel died on 13 October 1712 at Eastham.[1]
