Samuel was born in England and did not come with his father and brothers, but came later, probably about the time of his father's death in 1665; as it was one of the conditions of Robert Parke's will that his son Samuel should settle upon some land that he willed to him, within a certain time. He was a farmer in Stonington between the years 1672 and 1685. He is mentioned as living in Stonington in 1684, by his brother William, of Roxbury, in his will made that year.

Descendants are then followed for Thomas, although no wife is mentioned. The Stonington Vital Records, as per The Riker Compilation, list for Samuel, a son Thomas, b. 11 Apr 1680, and then another Thomas, b. 7 Jan 1682, but died 30 Oct 1682. Until further info is uncovered it is assumed that the second Thomas (1682) is Samuel's son Joseph.
