Samuel Peck, the eldest son of Jeremiah was born at Guilford, CT in 1659. He is listed as a freeman in Greenwich, CT in 1672. He was rather young,m being only 13, but this can probably be explained by the fact that churchmen in good standing were declared freemen, and he was the son of the minister of the church.
