Samuel Richmond was born on 23 September 1668 at Taunton. He was the son of John Richmond and Abigail Rogers.

Samuel Richmond married Mehitable Andrews, daughter of Henry Andrews and Mary Wadsworth, on 20 December 1694 at Taunton.

Samuel Richmond married Elizabeth King, daughter of Philip King and Judith Whitman, after 17 June 1708.

Samuel Richmond died between 11 June 1736 and 20 July 1736 at Taunton.
