"... Samuel was born 1741 in Woodbridge N.J He was a recruiting sergeant for the Loyal American Regiment at Staten Island New York. He arrived at St John N. B. with the July Fleet of 1783 with a wife, 2 children over 10 years (one being Mary) and 2 children under 10 years. He received Lot 2 Bedell’s survey of the Kingston Grant at Long Reach as a Loyalist grant. ..."
Death also seen as 1806.
