About Samuel Benjamin Titus (The Patriot)

Samuel was the son of John and Rebecca Titus. He married Rebecca Johnson on 10 Oct. 1753. He is referred to as a "leading supporter" of the Presbyterian Church in Pennington. He died intestate in 1778, presumably in Hopewell Twp., old Hunterdon (now Mercer) Co., NJ, where he resided.

Note: I have created a virtual cemetery for Samuel's and Rebecca's descendants - Titus (Samuel, son of John Sr.) Family [Mercer Co., NJ]. -Joseph R. Klett
