Origins

In his will Samuel Turner gave unto his well beloved Samuel Bevans Turner and to my daughter Joyce and my daughter Loar (Lear or Leah) and to my son Henry Turner and my son Jehu Turner one shilling sterling to each of them to be paid by my executors after by decease. To my son Elias Turner the whole and sole advantage and benefit of a deed of sale past to me from Andrew Calwell to him and his heirs. To my well beloved wife Sarah Turner all the rest of my estate of all my money that I am possessed with. My well beloved wife and my son Jehu Turner whole and sole executors.
