Sandral Daniell

Daniell, Sandral was born July 29, 1940, in St. Louis, to Catherine Robnett, who passed away July 24, 2010. She was a 12-year resident of Nevada and a member of Desert Spring Methodist Church. Sandral was a native St. Louisan who attended public schools there. At Sumner High School in St. Louis, she was inducted into the National Honor Society and graduated second ranking in her class. She earned a bachelor of science degree from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Mo., with honors in Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honor Society. She also earned a master of science degree in civil engineering from Washington University in St. Louis; and, a master of arts in business from Webster University. Sandral always found the time to help others, especially those who wished to improve themselves. Among the many things she did, was to tutor children and adults in math and reading skills. She also developed courses to help train high school students in the necessary skills to get a job. She really enjoyed good humor. Her laughter could become infectious; this might have been apparent to mostly friends and family, since she was a very private person. Sandral retired from the Defense Mapping Agency after 36 years of service. She was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her dearly beloved husband, Maurice; an aunt, Harriet Gulliford of Virginia; an uncle, John Robnett of St. Louis and many cousins and friends. Services: Memorial service will be at St. Peters AME Church, August 2, 2010, at 12:00 noon. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, in St. Louis.
