About Sara Benesch
Birth record: HBMa 1749 RADENÍN O 1784-1840 N 1784-1842 (i) Z 1784-1842, record 371, image 33/76 (Vademecum)
Marriage record (Radenín, 8 Nov 1859): HBM 231 FÚ HROBY (o. Tábor) matrika oddaných (1843-1862), record 78, image 20/25 (Vademecum)
Widowed mother-in-law in home of Ludwig Lustig in census of Mlýny 1890, image 9, house no. 5.
Called "Sara" in her birth record, "Sali" or "Salie" in most subsequent records, but "Rosa" in the marriage record of her granddaughter Martha Friedländer. This raises the question whether she is the same person as Rosalie Kaufman (born Wind), of whom no birth record has come to light. But Rosalie married Josef Kaufman in Chýnov in 1883, while Sali is recorded as a widow, still with the surname of "Beneš," in the Mlýny census of 1890 (cited above). So they must be two distinct persons. —M.R.
