Sara Rubin (Topola) Cheshinover Rbzn

Sara was born in Sadovna, Poland, in 1922, and lost her father Israel Yaakov at the age of 10. In 1941, when WWII broke out in Russia, Sarah was exiled with her mother and 2 sisters to a Central Asia republic in Siberia. Her brother Yerachmiel Moshe died then. She and her sisters survived the war, whereas their mother died there in 1944. In 1945 she emigrated to the United States and married her husband Israel Yaakov Rubin, the Cheshinover Rabbi. They had 5 children and 33 grandchildren and lived in Brooklyn, NY. Sara passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020, ג׳ ניסן ה׳תש״ף
