About Sarah Agnes (Boyd) Burnside, Free Settler "Ann" 1810
After Ambrose's death the family was not permitted to take up his allottment denying them a means of support. Sarah was forced to send her youngest Ann to the orphanage and the rest of the family sought employment. By the 1828 Census it can be seen that all members seem to be living apart according to their employment.
At the time of the census Sarah was a lodger at John GREENs, Kent St.
