About Sarah Armstrong

Sarah (some spelled her name SARAGH, which I believe must be the Irish spelling) d/o Joseph Albert Irwin and Mary Pritchard, was born 10 Jan 1848 Wakefield Que, died 16 March 1937 in Provost, Alberta.

She married Abraham Olmstead McAmmond born 11 Dec 1843 Nepean, Ontario, died 30 October 1899 in Agricola, Alberta (now called Fort Saskatchewan) while visiting his niece and her husband (Mary and James Fitzgerald) He was buried in St Pauls Cemetery Plot 28. I went with another family member, Ken Jokiffe, but we could find no stone..(perhaps there never was a stone)

Sarah and Abraham were married 15 September 1865, and they had 13 children between 1867 and 1892.

Sarah then married William Armstrong on 30 June 1902 in Powassan, Ontario. William was born 9 January 1863 in Fitzroy, Ontario and died 29 April 1942 in Abbotsford, Briitish Columbia
