According to Howard Green Bayles, Sarah ____, the wife of Daniel Bayles, died in March 1751, and Daniel remarried 8 months later in November 1751.[1] On page 2 of Bayles' 1946 supplement to his 1944 book he stated that John Bayles' wife Sarah was not Sarah Ludlum, but was possibly Sarah Denton who was born in November 1681 at Springfield, Massachusetts.

Sarah's 1685 birth year is an estimate based on her husband's 1683 birth year.

Research Notes

Incorrect parents William Ludlam and Sarah Higby have been removed, and her maiden name changed to Unknown, pending further information about her parentage. PLEASE DO NOT ADD THEM BACK AS HER PARENTS WITHOUT A DISCUSSION!
