Sarah "Sallie" Beckworth was the daughter of Hansel Beckworth and Caroline Carter. Sarah married Elam Lee as her second husband, after the death of her first husband Joseph Goodson. Sarah later married James Dixon and William Womack....... Sarah Beckworth was the granddaughter of Wiley Carter, this makes her a relative of former Pres. Jimmy Carter.
