The eldest child of Capt Andrew Bradford and Rebecca Cole, born in what now is the town of Milford NH in 1744. He was a farmer, and livedon the old homestead until 1800 when he removed to Hancock and died there in 1836. He commanded a company at Bennington, where he received honorable mention for bravery. He applied for a pension for his Rev. War service in Hancock in Aug 1832
