Sarah Margaret was the daughter of Anderson, Jr. and Mariah Lowry Oxendine. She married James William Bryant.
The following was taken from the May 6, 1968 edition of THE ROBESONIAN:
Mrs. Sarah Bryant, 58, formerly of Robeson County, died Saturday at 7 p.m. in Wilmington. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the New Prospect Methodist Church with the Rev. Belton Bullard officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, James Bryant; one daughter, Miss Retha Bryant of the home; two sons, Carlos Bryant stationed in South Korea and Wallace Bryant of Richmond, Va. Inscription:
