Sarah was the daughter of Isaac Crossno and Elizabeth "Betsy" Welch Crossno.

She married Patrick Core(Widower of Nancy Pelton Core)on August 19, 1860 in Franklin Co., Arkansas.

Sarah and Patrick were parents of

1.Elias Core, b.November 06, 1862, d.July 04, 1947. Elias married Nancy S. "Nannie" Landis.
Elias and Nannie are interred at Athens Cemetery, Athens, Henderson Co., Texas.

2.Susannah Catherine "Susan" Core, b.August 23, 1865, d. . Susan married John L. Kuykendall.
Susan is interred at Caulksville cemetery, Caulksville, Logan Co., Arkansas. John is interred at Gainesville cemetery, Greene Co., Arkansas.

3.Jonas Core, Twin, b.September 19, 1867.
