Ipswich, Massachusetts records note that "Sarah, ye daughter of Tho and Mary Jacob, borne Sept 26, 1674"

"May ye 10th 1713. Ensign Moses Chase of Newbury informed of his intent of marriage with Mrs Sarah Jacobs of Ipswich & I set up their publishment on ye day above writen"

"Moses Chase of Newby pubd..to Sarah Jacob, Ips June .. 1713" John Carroll Chase, in his genealogy of the Chase family - Seven Generations of the descendants of Aquila and Thomas Chase.. - published their marriage date as 13 December 1713 (see page 42.)

Sarah Jacob(s) Chase died 13 March 1739 in Newbury, Massachusetts. She predeceased her husband, Ensign Moses Chase, and is buried at the Bridge Street Cemetery, West Newbury, Massachusetts. The couple was married over 25 years, but had no issue.
