Sarah Duffield died at Fremantle on Saturday, aged 83 years; Deceased had been a resident of the State for 78 years.

DUFFIELD— The friends of the late Mrs. SARAH DUFFIELD, relict of the late John H. Duffield, are respectfully informed that her remains will be interred in the Old Fremantle Cemetery. The Funeral is appointed to leave her late residence, 204 High-street, Fremantle, TO-MORROW AFTERNOON, at 4.30 o'clock. No flowers, by request. Arthur E. DAVIES and CO., Undertakers, Market-street, Fremantle.
Note: Sarah Duffield was buried in the Skinner St Cemetery, headstone moved to new Fremantle Cemetery.

OBITUARY.
MRS SARAH DUFFIELD.
On Saturday morning Mrs Sarah Duffield died at her residence, High-street, Fremantle, at this age of 83 years. The deceased was the relict of the late Mr. John H. Duffield and mother of Mr. E.W. Duffield, of Fremantle, and had lived in Western Australia for 78 years.
The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon, and was largely attended. The remains were interred in the Church of England portion of the old Fremantle Cemetery.
The pall-hearers were Messrs G. B. Humble, W. A. George, J. J. Higham, and George Davies. The burial service was conducted by the Rev. Canon Barton-Parkes, and the funeral arrangement carried out by Messrs. Arthur E. Davies and Co.
