She is the step-mother of Robert and Resin Scobee of Winchester. She and her widowed sister, Mrs. Pollie Hunt, live together. Owing to advanced age, but little if any improvement is expected.

From the The Winchester (KY) Democrat, Fri., May 25, 1901:

Death Of Mrs. Sarah Scobee

Mrs. Sarah Hedrick Scobee died at her home near Sewell’s Shop yesterday morning, aged eighty-two years. Saturday night she fell and broke a thigh bone, and owing to her extreme age, the accident proved fatal.

The funeral will be preached at Mt. Zion Church tomorrow at ten o’clock, a. m., by Rev. Geo. Froh and J. W. Fitch, and the remains will be brought to this city for interment. She was the widow of the late Robert Scobee and the step mother of Rice P., S. Rezin A., and J. Will Scobee, of this city.

She was a good woman, and her death will be regretted by a multitude of friends.

Some time ago she bought a residence in this city and had made arrangements to come here to live. Her widowed sister Mrs. Polly Hunt, who had lived with her for a long time, and who is eighty-five years old, is prostrated by the sad affair and grave fears for her are entertained.

From the The Winchester Democrat, Tuesday, June 4, 1901:
