Sarah A "Sally" died Aug 21, 1876, and was the daughter of William Askew (Jan 1, 1776 NC-abt 1821 Lawrence Co, MS) & Louisa "Lucy" (Jackson) Askew (Sep 7, 1781 SC -d abt 1839), who married Aug 23, 1798 in Jefferson Co, Georgia. They had 6 other children.

William was the son of Thomas Askew (abt 1738-Jan 30, 1801) & Elizabeth Unknown Askew.
