Sarah Lucinda Crice

2nd Wife of John Franklin Crice.

(From May 31, 1912 paper- Mrs. Sarah L. Crice, aged 65, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.M. McGee of Oscar, wednesday morning at 3 o'clock. Her remains were carried to Blandville thursday afternoon, and after funeral services by ELD. J.M. Burgess, was laid to rest in the presence of a large concourse of sorrowing ones and friends. Mrs. Crice was born in Christian County, but her parents moved to Ballard County many years ago. She leaves five children: Three sons, DR. George W. Crice of Covington, Tenn., DR. T.J. Crice of Lakeland, KY., Fred Crice of Oscar; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Wyman of Blandville and Mrs J.M. McGee of Oscar. And many other relatives and friends in Ballard County. She was a member of the Baptish Church at Blandville, and had lived a consistent christian life. To the sorrowing ones we extend our sincere sympathy in this their sad bereavment.)
