Archibald McKinnon.
Archibald McKinnon (Gilleasbuig Neill) was a son of Neil McKinnon (Alexander), of Barra. He came to Cape Breton on the ship, Harmony, in 1821. He settled at Shenacadie, and married Mary, daughter of Malcolm McNeil (Ban), of Boularderie.
Issue: — Neil, Mary, Malcolm, Sarah, John, Elizabeth, Michael, Stephen, and Malcolm.
Sarah married Donald D. R. McNeil, Castle Bay.

Donald settled in the homestead and married Ann, daughter of James McLeod, Benacadie Point. Issue: — John, James, Michael, Mary, Donald, Christie, Rory D., and Duncan.
Donald D.R. settled in the homestead, and married first Sarah, daughter of Archie McKinnon (Neil); (second,) Elizabeth, daughter of Hugh McNeil (Malcolm), Barra Glen; (third,) Ann McEachern. Issue: —James, Donald, John, Sarah, Mary L., Mary Ann, Mary Sarah, Lizzie, and Maggie.
