AGED BARING WOMAN DIES
Death of Mrs. Sarah Jane McDonald, County Native, Last Week.
—Mrs. Sarah Jane McDonald, a life-long resident of Knox County, died at her home in Baring last Thursday at the age of 82 years. —Funeral services were from At. Aloysius Church in Baring by the Rev. Stephen Carew at 9 o'clock Saturday morning. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery there. —Surviving are three sons, John E. McDonald of Ft. Madison, Ia., Emmett E. McDonald of Sporland, Ill., and Jess McDonald at home; eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter and two brothers. —Mrs. McDonald, who was born in Knox County April 3, 1853, was preceded in death by her husband and five children.
