They were sleeping on the floor when an intruder entered the home and began rummaging through the drawers. Sarah over-powered the man and held him down until police arrived.

OLD BILOXI RESIDENT DEAD

    Mrs. Sarah Stonco Mickletich, aged 70 years, a native of Mobile and resident of Biloxi for 64 years, died this morning at 8 o'clock following an illness of two weeks.  Deceased was one of the landmarks of the city.  She leaves one sister, Mrs. Lucy Hightower, of this city, three daughters and one son.  Her daughters are Mrs. J. J. Kent, of New Orleans; Mrs. John Brocato, of Pecos, Texas, and Mrs. John Jelucich of Biloxi.  Her brother is George Mickletich, of Biloxi.  She leaves a number of other relatives including many grandchildren.  She was a member of the Church of the Redeemer under whose auspices the funeral will be held arrangements for which have not been completed.  Mrs. Mickletich died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jelucich, 203 Cedar street. (Daily Herald, The (Biloxi, MS) 8/4/1922, Page: 3, Col.: 3)

MICKLETICH FUNERAL TODAY

    The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Stonco Mickletich, who died at her home on Cedar street yesterday morning at 8 o'clock, was held this afternoon at 4 o'clock.  Services were conducted in the Church of the Redeemer by Rev. E. A. DeMiller and interment was made in the Biloxi Cemetery.
