Sabra Minor was born on October 2, 1732 in Lyme, New London, Connecticut, the daughter of Clement Minor and Esther Lee. [1] She married Benjamin Stebbins[2], and they had ten children.

Inscription read: "In memory of Mrs. Sabra Stebbins wife of Mr. Benjamin Stebbins who died April 16,1788 in the 56 year of her age....Dear friends be wise/In time to know/The fading state/of things below/"[4]
