BIOGRAPHY: This is the transcription of a small brown covered notebook i n possession of Cynthia Phillips, great-greatgranddaughter of Enoch Newli n and Frances Hill (Newlin) (Guyer). The contents are primarily a copy o f an 1813 Memorandum to Eli Newlin from his mother, Sarah Holaday Newli n and copied for Enoch and Frances Newlin by Martha Hill Newlin. The spel ling is as written. The whereabouts of the original Sarah Newlin documen t is unknown.

Unhappily there is no answer to the question, did Sarah Holladay Newlin survive her husband."

BURIAL: The Bronze marker in the Newlin Cemetery dedicated to John & Sarah Newlin is believed to be in the location where the original sandstone markers for John III & Sarah Hollady Newlin were located. No dates are given. It lists their 10 children.
